At PrimeHort, we believe in growth – not just in maximising crop yields, but in building strong communities and supporting causes close to our heart. Together, we’re thrilled to support the Starship Foundation in 2024 and beyond.
Many of us have felt the power of Starship firsthand, through our own children or those of close friends and family. There is nothing more frightening than when our little ones are facing health challenges. So the initiative to raise funds for Starship national children’s hospital was embraced by our entire team.
To feel a sense of personal involvement, each team member contributed individually, and in true PrimeHort spirit our boss boosted these efforts to reach $10,000! This week, we had the privilege of handover our collective donation to Kate Carter, Corporate Relationships Manager from the Starship Foundation.
Kate said she could sense our team’s genuine commitment to giving back and that we are a philanthropic bunch.
“Your generous support is invested into critical priority projects identified by the Clinical Directors of Starship. Each project represents an unmet need not covered by government operational funding. For maximum impact your donations are channelled into initiatives that are transformational and make a positive difference in the lives of Starship patients for example Starship National Air Ambulance,” explains Kate Carter.
For us, hearing stories about Starship’s work was incredibly humbling – they truly are everyday heroes working on behalf of our children.
At PrimeHort, generosity is one of our core values, and giving back has become part of who we are. Together, we’ve made meals for Ronald McDonald House families, attended voluntary planting days, and raised funds for our friends at Fire & Emergency and Northern Rescue Helicopter… And we’re just getting started.
Look out, 2025—we’ve set a new benchmark! When we all contribute, our impact grows.
