The Da Ros Seeder LR400 is an integrated electronic drum seeder with a row-by-row sowing system, designed for reliable production while efficiently handling small quantities of valuable or difficult seed.
With independent speed control of both the drum and tray transport belt, the LR400 allows operators to increase seed deposit per cell without changing the drum. The row-by-row system makes it ideal for working with naked or pelleted seed, maximising seed use and reducing waste.
The machine performs dibbling, sowing, covering (with vermiculite or agriperlite), watering and stacking in one continuous process. All operational adjustments, including belt speed and sowing settings, are controlled from the touchscreen control panel for consistent and repeatable results.
The straightforward setup and easy changeover of drums, seeding bars and nozzles allow the LR400 to adapt quickly to different tray formats and seed types. The unit can also be fed by a tray filler (without requiring electrical connections), making integration simple and flexible.
