The I3-P Potting Machine is probably the most popular potting machine for growers in New Zealand. Its high level of safety, multiple adjustments for various potting requirements and being a relatively well-priced machine make the I3-P an excellent choice for hard-working plant producers.
The machine comes standard with an 1800L hopper. The hopper has two fold-down sides so it can be loaded from either side. The soil feed speed can be adjusted via a mechanical speed dial according to the soil demand of the pot.
It comes with stainless steel soil elevator paddles for long-life wear and tear. The potting conveyor comes optional between 3-6m lengths. This conveyor is speed adjustable and has a tray holder mounted for quick and easy planting.
It comes with an automatic pot in-feed conveyor which automatically loads the pot magazine as the machine continues to use its pots. The pot sizing adjustment and pot de-nester are simple to adjust for pots between 8-20cm diameter.
The machine de-nests the pot, fills with soil and drills a hole ready for the person to drop the plant into the hole as it travels along the conveyor. Drill hole size and drill depth can be easily adjusted.
Potting capacity is between 1000-2500 pots per hour.
