Coir Pith, also known as Coco peat, is the spongy material that surrounds the coir fibres in coconut husks. Coir can be used as a complete growing media or mixed with composted bark, peat, pumice , perlite or vermiculite.
Coir Pith 100% washed has removed any excess salts and tannins, making it ideal for use in horticulture. It has excellent water retention capabilities while still providing good aeration to plant roots. The washing process removes impurities and reduces the risk of salinity, making it suitable for use in sensitive plants.

• This grade is excellent for seedling grades and plants growing in small container sizes such as the Plugs, 5cm Pots, 7cm Pots, Paper Pots, Fertil Pots, 50 Cell Trays and 28 Cell Trays.
